South West Region GIRFT Ophthalmology event

Martin talked about the excellent progress made at Great Western Hospital, where HBS provide a managed service solution for the Eye Clinic. He explained how HBS changed pathways and workforce to ensure demand was being met in a quality manner, whilst also clearing the backlog of overdue follow up patients.

Martin’s presentation was well received by the room and certainly sparked discussion amongst the peers. The audience were very impressed with how HBS has managed to break down barriers in a notoriously difficult department to put them ahead of their peer group for the first time.
