Dr Gary Bolger is a distinguished public health specialist with over 25 years of experience in both private and public healthcare sectors. He has served as Chief Medical Officer at AXA PPP Healthcare, NHS Consultant in Public Health Medicine, and has published in the British Medical Journal.
Dr Masood Nazir

Dr Nazir has over 21 years of experience working in general practice, currently working as a general medical practitioner at Hall Green Health in Birmingham. Alongside his work as a GP, he has held prominent roles locally and nationally. He is currently Chief Clinical Information Officer (CCIO) at NHS Birmingham & Solihull ICB.
Mark Emerton

Mark is an orthopaedic surgeon in Leeds. As clinical director he established the elective orthopaedic unit in Leeds and subsequently held national roles at the NHS Institute in both quality improvement and patient safety.
He is passionate about improving access for patients and the quality and value of elective services.
Professor Mark Goodfield

Former President of the British Association of Dermatologists,
Mark practices in general dermatology with an interest in the diagnosis and management of systemic diseases, skin cancer and paediatric dermatology.
He works closely with other disciplines in clinical and laboratory research in these areas.
Professor Daniel Blackman
Cardiology
Daniel is a consultant cardiologist. He is the highest volume operator in coronary intervention in Leeds.
Daniel is leading the Leeds Programme in valvular intervention. He also has a broad interest in all areas of general cardiology including chest pain, palpitation, hypertension and arrhythmias.
Paul Trikha
Trauma & Orthopaedics
Paul has vast experience in MSK leadership and management. He has undertaken various specialty and clinical lead roles including Clinical Director of MSK Strategy and Transformation and MSK Clinical Lead for Surrey Heartlands STP.
He is also a Cofounder of the Surrey Orthopaedic Clinic.
Dr Max Pitcher
Gastroenterology
Elected as Chairman of Medicine at St Mark’s in 2007 and appointed Chairman of the Medical Advisory Committee at The Clementine Churchill Hospital in 2010 for five years.
As the Concertmaster for the European Doctors Orchestra, Max is also an accomplished violinist.
Stephen Mitchell
Urology
Stephen is a consultant urologist with 17 years of experience, trained in Cambridge and specialized at Imperial College London with a PhD in the cellular biology of prostate cancer. His expertise includes managing urinary tract stone disease and minimally invasive treatments for benign prostate enlargement. He also conducts research on the impact of diet on chronic health conditions.
Dr Jeremy Axon
Rheumatology
Experienced in all aspects of rheumatology, Jeremy has a particular interest in sports medicine, soft tissue injuries and rehabilitation medicine.
Jeremy has experience in research and has written articles for physiotherapy journals and for the British Journal of Rheumatology.
Professor Bernie Chang
Ophthalmology
Bernard is the past President of The Royal College of Ophthalmologists. He has been a Consultant Ophthalmologist for 17 years. He is also an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Leeds. Bernard works with NHSE on the National Outpatients Transformation Programme and was clinical lead on the CRG for the National Artificial Eyes Service until 2019.
Amol Chitre
MSK
Amol is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon specialising in hip and knee problems. He works across Wrightington Hospital, one of the UK’s specialist orthopaedic centres and Royal Preston Hospital, the Major Trauma Centre for Lancashire and South Cumbria.
Dr Andrew Westwood
Neurology
Andrew is a consultant neurologist, a graduate of the University of Cambridge and is also board certified in the USA in both neurology and sleep medicine. Andrew has a strong interest in both education and research. He is a fellow of both the Royal College of Physician Edinburgh and the American Academy of Neurology. He has been invited to speak internationally, published and peer-reviewed research as well as served on several international committees.
Kay Baxter

With 20 years’ experience as an NHS consultant dermatologist, including senior leadership roles in Outpatients, Medical Education, and Skin Cancer, Kay Baxter now balances full-time clinical care with technology-enabled roles supporting dermatology services and trainees. Non-clinical qualifications in law, alongside current MBA studies, provide Kay with a fresh perspective and equip her to drive improvement and innovation in healthcare.
Heidi Tempest

Miss Heidi Tempest is a Consultant Urological Surgeon with extensive experience, having qualified from the University of Cambridge and completed specialist training in Cambridge and Oxford, followed by a fellowship in Vancouver, Canada. She holds an MD in bladder function research (2004). Previously part of the Oxford Stone Team, she has performed complex stone surgeries, led specialist clinics, and introduced new clinical services. Her current practice focuses on core urology, day surgery, and minimally invasive techniques. Additionally, Miss Tempest is active in medical appraisal, educational supervision at the University of Oxford, medical technology innovation, and holistic health.
